I won't be reviewing myself here, but the information on this website is incorrect. You cannot reach me at the phone number above, though you could call that number to get flight training at a school I used to work at.

It took a bit to get everything scheduled but the check-ride was fair and reasonably pleasant (for what it was). The oral was very scenario based, looking for actual understanding and not rote memory. Pretty much covered what everyone said it would. The flight was also pretty much exactly what I heard it would be online etc. Ground refs and air work, precision landings, etc. After a solid flight on pretty much everything else I really whiffed the soft-field (usually really solid) b/c of the gusty winds but still passed. Overall I felt like it was a fair but thorough check-ride and I will likely use Tristan for my IFR check.
