The guy was a grump from the time that we stated to the time that he left. For whatever reason, everything I said was somewhat wrong even though I would say a safe and obvious solution to the problem. He used very few scenarios, in fact most of the oral was wrote knowledge of the subject, many of the questions can be interpreted many different ways. He wanted to make sure that you know the knowledge but not so much the practical side of flying. Skipped completely over systems. Spends an unnecessary amount of time on specific topics even when you clearly know nearly all the information of a section. Gives no sign of encouragement or progression in the oral. Very stern and will fail you for not knowing smaller details. In my option, he grades above the PTS. I would only recommend Bruce if you have an extremely clear understanding of all the topics in the license or if he fits into your schedule.
