I did my CFI ride with him. He creates a relaxed environment, but at the same time is thorough. Be sure you know your ADM very well; he asked me nearly everything in the ADM chapter in the PHAK. You have to know your stuff, but he focuses on the important items- not the minute little things that aren't very important.

Same here. He is big on ADM! Otherwise it is pretty laid back. Know your stuff and you will pass. I definitively recommend him!

I did my CFI SE Initial checkride with Dale. We started like any other checkride with the paperwork, having things tabbed out will speed this up tremendously. Have your writtens out and ready, along with your medical, ID, and pilot certificate
